MGA 1957 MGA with Snark Kit for sale, Victoria. BC

I hang around the big Healey and Sprite pages but ran across this and figured it might be of interest (finanical or intellectual) to you chaps.

Anyone know what the Snark kit was? "twas brillig and the slithey toves did gyre and gimbal in wabe; all mimsy were the borogroves and the momeraths outgrabe" (pardon my spelling).

Aloha Doug,

Just a guess, but I think it is a reference to the SNARK missile, an ICBM deployed by Strategic Air Command in the late 50s. It was the same vintage more or less as the MGA. The engine's air intake was of a similar shape as the modified MGA's new snout. Here is a photo of the missile:

Crikey - looks like a Hoover with a bib!

And a Capri V6 is pretty darned old technology compared to the newer GM V6s commonly used for that sort of thing.

Fugly forlorn thing - hope someone buys it and does plastic surgery on it!
