one of the guy's in my car club has really done a number on this stately old beauty.
daily driver upgrades:
Rover V8 3.9L (replacing the blown 1.5L 4cyl)
A/C
disc brakes all around
automatic trans.

does all the work himself, including the paint.

I always liked the looks of these. One of the better looking British cars of the period and much better looking than the earlier version.
 
After all that, how much more work to move the B-pillar back, extend the front doors and make a 2-door out of it? :cool-new:

There's a fellow on another MG forum who is doing just that. An interesting thread to read. Short answer, a LOT more work. :grin:
