1955-56 Healey Lay Gear

Trying to get some info on a lay gear. Found what I am told is a Healey 1956 4 speed lay gear # TB 3728 is engraved on the shaft area. I cannot find this # anywhere as a stock number for a 55 - 56 Healey. Any info concerning this stock # would be appreciated. Thanks
