T-Series 1952 MG TD For Sale

*snicker*

Geography overcome by BCF once more. And your choice of "non-standard color" is exquisite, Shawn!

But my question is: when he buys a new truck, does he repaint the TD?

He's gone through three trucks and they have all been the same color. He'll be in trouble when Dodge stops offering that color. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif Otherwise he'll either keep the truck or repaint the truck. Likes the color on the MG way too much to change it.

Thanks Doc, I'm partial to the color as well. It really helps show that TR6's do have nice body lines when they can be seen. Women seem to LOVE the color which doesn't hurt either. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually not the one, but I've only heard GREAT things about the Motorway..

My buddies are Ted Ax and Paul Dierschow (owner) of Sportcar Craftsmen in Wheat Ridge (Arvada now). They did a B motor retro-fit to the car too that is simply fantastic. If you didn't know what you were looking at, you'd think it was 100% factory.

Were you at the Conclave this year? We didn't bring anything to the show this year, too many things to finish and not enough time!

Next time I'm out in your direction with an oil leaker, maybe we can grab a beer. I'd love to see the car...I 'll just need to talk my wife into baby sitting.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Absolutely, a beers always a good idea.

If it wasn't the Motorway, Paul's shop would have been my next guess. The TD pictured (the gray one) also has a period Judson S/C waiting in the wings for it. The Motorway has done a few B engine conversions into T series cars as well. That can really make the T cars fly. One they are doing now is getting a B engine, a Ford Type 9 five speed and then full MGB suspension as well. I guess the customer wants seat heaters too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Sports Car Crafstmen do some really nice work. I think Ted was just up here a few weeks ago for our (BMCNC'c) Oil Spot Rallye. Isn't he the guy with the Rover and Citroen? Had a good chat with him actually. Good blokes, all of 'em.

Let me know if you get up this way. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif

Sounds like a plan!

Yeah, that was Ted I'd imagine! He has sold the Rover and <one> of his Cit's. He has a beautiful black Cit DS 21, that has all the best DS goodies on it, he's a riot and great fun to hang out with..

I'd like to get up to the Motorway and get a tour sometime soon, always great to meet more people in the know!

I'll be in touch! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif
