T-Series 1951 MG TD Master Cylinder Question [RWD]

I disconnected the master cylinder from the frame on my TD. The pistons in the master cylinder are frozen completely. There is a short plunger rod connected to the pedal at one end. The other end goes into the master cylinder but I can't force it out. Is it connected to the master cylinder piston in any way? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Thank you sooo much

Should be some circlips in the bore holding the pistons in place.

& its hard to get the thing out if its not frozen....frozen = start looking for a new master cylinder...the bore will probably be pitted too far to clean
