Years ago my B-I-L had a MGA MKII and thought it was pretty quick. One day we were visiting our local "sports car shop" who was also a Saab dealer. B-I-L was bragging about his MG so the shop guy said he had a new Saab dealer prepped and ready and would like to try it against the MG. Probably don't need to say the B-I-L came back from a short "test" feeling much less cocky.

Haven't seen his name in print for a while. I was watching an old Chevy promotional film recently that featured Corvettes at Sebring in 1957 and noticed one of the Vettes had a Swiss insignia on it. I thought about Andrey and looked it up & discovered that he did indeed drive for Chevy in that race, just before they got out of racing. (If the car had been #25, I wouldn't have had to look it up.)

First dealer, we're among greatness!
My 1972 96 I bought in 1975 and drove all over the country and then less so for 25 years. It had the V4 Ford w/ 4 on the column and FReeWHEEl.
Slept in the back often. It looked much like and as good as the stock photo above, at least for quite a while.
