1951 Austin Devon A40 ID plate

First of all, hello! This is my first time posting to this forum. I have a 1951 Austin Devon A40 which was resto-mod by the previous owner. He got about 80% done before he passed away and now I am trying to complete the job (and improving things he did).
I am trying to source a replacement ID plate for my Devon A40 which mounted on the inside of the glove box door. The previous owner (now deceased) lost the original during his partial restoration. I have verified the ID numbers through the British Motor Museum so I know I have the correct ones for the replacement but I have not been able to find a proper plate anywhere on the internet.

Does anyone out there know where I can get a replacement plate - I need it to complete the Department of Motor Vehicle registration?

The original plate is 10mmX6.5mm with a black background and embossed numbers and letters (some were plastic others were metal).

Thanks for your help. Jim H

Yes that is the plate I'm looking for. I've sent a request for a quote to Aluma. I'll see what happens. Thanks for your help. BTW, I haven't found a place locally that can do it for a reasonable price. If Aluma doesn't work out I'll have to keep looking.

Jim - welcome to BCF.

You probably already know what the plate looks like, but just in case -

So you could probably have a shop in your area make one for you. If local doesn't pan out, try:

Hope this helps.
