By chance is there a way to add an aftermarket starter to the 1.2L engine, I have had to send mine to a local repair shop to be rebuilt I just wish there was another starter I could use. I also am trying to find an alternator that will work and it is looking like a mini alternator similar to the ones used on race cars.
I now have the new brakes in hand and had to send them to a shop in Mpls., MN with shipping to and back total cost of $100.00, and they are bonded. Removed the diff and replaced all seals the hardest part was stretching the spring to get it to hook up with the shackles.

Got the starter back from Interstate Auto Elec $150 to rebuild fair price and I did ask if the starter had to be positive grnd, I was told the starter was dumb and does not care if 6 or 12V but 12 V is hard on starter drive.
