It's an open bus, similar to ones used over here for tourist duty. It only recently came to Alberta into the ownership of a prominent collector of old trucks, he purchased it from a publishing company in Wisconsin I think.

Over in England it was in use from 1926 to 1956 in Bradford, Yorkshire. Don't suppose any of you remember it back then... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyway, a neat set of British wheels...

WOW!!! Ok, that is very cool! I'd love to see that thing up close.

Today I did get to see a great 1920 Model T Tourer. I've never seen a tourer body like that on a T before. It was being trailered south on Interstate 5 through Valencia, California.

Very cool old truck. I wonder how much something like that is worth.

Mmmmm....I *did* live in that area in the early 50's, but I was too young to remember almost any of the cars.
That's a real beauty!

Oh yes... And ran into an old friend while I was at the show, and he told me about a 1913 Mercedes truck that is currently being restored by the same collector of the above truck.

Now that is another truck I've just got to see sometime, will probably get the chance at some point, this collector isn't afraid to show off his (massive) collection of old trucks.

That first pic makes it look like that RV in the background is part of the bus. i was a little confused for a minute.
Really neat. There is a guy that brings one of the Layland team transporters to the Vintage race at the Glen each year. I'll have to see if I can post a pic
