I yanked the B series engine out of my Marina. It looks to be very fresh, has a aftermarket cam, double valvesprings, etc.
What modifications could I do to make this engine ? Im still looking for a chrome bumper "B".
Is there a stroker kit ? I have proced a aluminum head, but its a bit expensive, but is the difference worth the money ? Any help would be great !

The "Special Tuning Manual", Clive Trickey's book and David Vizard's publications are the best "reading list" recommendations I can think of.

Look at the back of the crankshaft. If it came from an automatic you are OK . If from a four speed Marina you may be in for a surprise if you want to install it in a B.

I wondered about that... seem to recall some "odd" differences. In the block itself, IIRC. Casting changes, including a mechanical fuel pump accomodation.

Might as well put this thing back in the rusty Marina, then. Thanks room.
