1500 water pump weep hole?

Is there any kind of weep hole for the 1500 Midget water pump to tell if a seal on it has failed?

Yes, it points down and it's just behind the fan clutch. If the lower mounting nut is getting rusty, it might be going.

agreed, mine had a leak that caused coolant to get blown around the engine compartment by the fan.

It was time for a new water pump

Unless it was installed with the weep hole facing upwards. I think upwards is better; the antifreeze would leak down the housing and be easier to see.
