Out of curiosity....
Inside the transmission mount bracket there is a piece of flatbar with a rubber grommet on each side. Bolted to the tail section is what looks like...the other half of that piece. Does anyone know if they are supposed to be welded together or do they just kinda end up in the same place? I have attached a picture from the VB catalog to show what I'm talking about. It's in the right panel and is what parts 22-25 go on... Mine was so covered in mung and sand that I didn't know anything was in there till I pulled the tail section off.
