My question is: Do you really need this? My 1500 doesn't have one and I'm wondering if I should fit one? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If you're talking about the flap in the air intake that blends hot and cold air, you don't need it. I kept threatening to wire mine shut so it quit rattling like crazy, but I got a Longflo air filter, which meant getting rid of it anyway.
