I curerently have a 1500 oil cooler on my 75 that I got on a parts car. I like this one as the sandwich plate not only allows for the install of the oil cooler lines but also adapts the filetr to a spin on. I cant find an other one like this anywhere. Only units that retain the stock canister filter. Does anyone know where I can Find such a sandwich plate?

actually found what I need at BATINC.net in FL. Importers of Mocal Systems and were very helpful. Also got some AN Conversion fittings from pegasus.

In the future, if you are using AN fittings, and sounds like you are, you can buy Mocal oil coolers that already have AN fittings on them. Also when I build a race engine I tap all straight threads in the block for BSP fittings to NPT so I can just use a very common NPT to AN fitting. Since NPT is just a tapered version of Straight thread all you're doing is converting the straight thread to tapered.

Got Me that was All I had. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazyeyes.gif I thought they were canisters al the way throughout. Amazing when I called looking for the adaptor to keep the spin on they first said it didnt exisist. That is until I sent them a picture and they went looking for it..

Exactly what I ordered. Acyually got the plate with the AN fittings installed and then some bsp to AN adaptors for atop the cooler I have. Than I will have no worries. And I have converted several fittings on this engine from parrallel thread to NPT so I could use standard AN fittings elsewhere as well.
