1500 Midget cam specs

Thanks to all, for useful info on the 1500.
My Spridget races with a bone-stock 1500 (required in my class) so I haven't been that interested in engine-stuff....but the fact that I could "fine-tune" cam-timing by flipping the cam gear is something I didn't know (my "1500 Workshop Manual" by Brooklands Books doesn't mention it).

How does your rules address the difference in the US version of the car versus the UK version? There might be a loophole there that would allow you to convert it to UK spec.

When I ordered a Piper camshaft from Britek I received a Delta regrind cam. They rarely get any Piper camshafts from England so I believe they send the cam specs to Delta. It hasn't given me any problem yet, knock on wood!!
