1500 loss of power

Down here in sunny Johannesburg
Just returned from the 70th anniversary weekend of the 2nd oldest MG Car Club (Natal MG Car Club)in the world. On the way home after about 100 miles the car started missing, like being pulled back. There was no back firing and at the time the temparature was in the normal rage. Max speed with foot flat was 60 mph and going up an incline I would lose speed.

There was a thread here within the last 12 months when someone wrote about the same problem. I did a search, it returned 300 results but again after page 9 the thread is lost. 2 Questions

Does anyone have the thread link or
What is the problem (I think it could be fuel starvation)

By the way at the 70th celebration the original chairman of the Natal MG car club was there at age 96.
