Me again, raiding over from the Spridget forum. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Could one of you Triumph experts tell me how much I need to skim off of a '79 1500 head (stock) with flat top pistons (not stock) to get a 9.5:1 compression ratio?

No real answer here, but, if you go over to goodparts.com you will see Richard Good's listing under tech documents for TR6 compression ratios and how much to shave. Might give you some guidance.
