I see this as "Policy" in more and more places...
But I've never been hit with it until now.
I'd like to compile a list of companys that do this.
Not a black list mind you...Just a list for "reference"

1) SafeRacer

Anyone have any others?

How about poor Warranties! I bought the best most insulated garage door that I could get my hands on (less than a year ago) and the first time the weather hit 20 deg F. a window pane split. Company states and I quote "10 Year Warranty does not cover EXTREME Weather conditions." WOW, I must have not been outside when the silent invisible tornado blew past......

Sometimes this stupid socialist country has some advantages.
2 year warranty on everything. Period.
Repair or replace. Completely free.
I guess it makes it a little tough on the small businesses, but then they just get to pay higher taxes also. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Most racing related businesses are very accommodating...

Imagine trying to support a bunch of folks who have nothing better to do all day than sit around and analyze each other's valve caps.
(While we wait to race)

One perceived indiscretion, by a company, could be well beyond damage control in a very short time.

I mean...Why would anyone want to put their reputation on the line for a measly 15 bucks?

warranties over here are just an other item to sell. And heres a piece of paper that covers you for a LIMITED time of ten years. Trust me very LIMITED. But we have they dont or we can sell it to you for twice what a new engine costs anyways!
