Re: Best sounding exhaust or muffler-TR6??

I had an Ansa (or was it Abarth?) on my last TR6 about 15 years ago. It was too loud. I felt bad for the neighbors and long trips were hard on the ears.
I'm running stock right now. I love the note at around 2500 RPM, but I wish it was a bit louder elsewhere in the range.

Re: Best sounding exhaust or muffler-TR6??

I like stock. Not too loud but a nice sound when you get on it.

i don't care what it sounds like /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gifas long as the cops /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cowboy.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gifdon't pull me over and my motor makes the most ponies and torque! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
other than that, that's what ear plugs and music headphones are for if you don't like the sweet exhaust sound. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Stock!

When I bought my TR I looked at some other British Marques and even some Italian Marques. The sound was one thing that kept bringing me back to Triumph. I was lucky to find my TR6 (in great shape) at a great price.
