13" tires

I had trouble finding 13" tires for my tr7 fhc. finally ordered 195-60x13 sumotomos drop shipped to my tire installer, after a thrust alignment it's like driving a new triumph. it's now ready for the autocross season.

I figured out the reason for my alignment problems. the cross member had been in-expertly repaired and had partially collapsed, compounded with a worn steering rack, and worn out the wheel bearings. not sure which caused which, but the "new" cross member is off my '81, which meant I had to change to the new style bottom motor mount.

It drives so well that I am afraid to tweek it in.

Congrats on the success.

Where'd you order the tires from?

Tom

one of our supporting vendors, tire rack. they don't have triumphs listed, so you have to know what tire size you are looking for. they were $40/ea + shipping. I had them drop shipped to my tire installer.
