1275 firing order and plug wire arrangement

Trying to place my dizzy and set static timing.
I have a side entry distributor cap with two "low" posts and two "high" posts.
I believe the firing order is 1-3-4-2
At TDC of cyl 1 the rotor is pointing to approximately 2 O'clock, which corresponds to a "low" post.
If the rotor turns clockwise the next post is a " high" post which I assume goes to number 3 cyl, then another "high" post to cyl 4, and finally the last "low" post to cyl 2.

Does this sound correct?

don't know about the posts but it is indeed 1324.
 
Yes, Roger is correct.

1-3-4-2

That's common in most four cylinder engines from Honda to MG to Chevy.

When running (in the car), the distributor rotor turns counter-clockwise.

One notable exception being 4-pot Fords which were 1-2-4-3. One odd curiosity is the Lotus-Ford Twin-cam. The engine block on which it's built is the Ford Cortina 1500 engine, with 1-2-4-3 firing order, but Lotus modified it to the more normal 1-3-4-2.
