1275 exhaust manifold ?

My 1275 didn't come with an exhaust manifold, so I bought one on ebay.
It came without studs in the flange, so I ordered some from Moss.

They came today, and both ends are threaded. The manifold flange doesn't appear to be threaded. Maybe mine was drilled out.

Anyone know for certain if these studs should thread into the flange?

thanks
Fred

Originally the studs did thread into the manifold but many have rusted and broken off so many (most?) of us just drill them out and use 5/16-24 bolts (2 1/2" or so long).
