does anyone know how much cyl. psi a 1275 austin engine should have to run properly? currently at 120-125 psi. thanx, bob.

Those are pretty good I do believe. Consistency is most important.SPre engine I tested goes 125-85-100-125. Also I was told it started consuming larger amounts of oil. A Valve job is in order before it goes in to replace my 1098 in Bugsy. The 1098 gives 90 psi across the board. And it was supposedly rebuilt. Runs fairly well however and always starts on 1/2 turn of the key.
