11" vs. 10 3/4 brake rotors on ebay

Gents,
A vendor on ebay sells 10 3/4 rotors for TR2 thru TR6. He says (email) that a 1/4" dif, or 1/8" per side, will not make a difference in proper operability. These are modern vented discs. I'm not sure of the width as I didn't query.
What say you?

If you still have your 11" rotors and calipers on, check to see how far down the pads sit in relation to the outside edge of the rotors. I don't remember offhand, but if they are down at least an 1/8", then there won't be a problem. If they are less then an 1/8", then as the pads wear, they will start to overlap the top of the rotors. I put 10 3/4" cross-drilled rotors on my TR3, but I also installed 4-pot Toyota calipers with TR6 mounting brackets.

Edit: Also, are these vented or just cross-drilled? The cross-drilled ones should be the same thickness as original. If they are vented (fins between the inner and outer sections), then they will be too fat.

Art,
I'm overseas and can't check the pad placement or mic the thickness. Would be nice to have some modern discs with the green pads. Thanks for the x-drilled/vented tip.
Pat
