11/2+11/2 = TR3 up-date

Well my wife and I just got back from a 3300 mile drive to Seattle (for a wedding)then to Yellowstone (for the big water spout). Lots of nice scenery, We saw a BRG TR6 in Seattle on Saturday (the 22nd) looked nice. But progress on the TR3 is going good. On Sunday the engine bay and interior was painted. Friday I am going to install the throttle linkage and the new head. Saturday morning the body goes on thr frame for the last time. Then on Sunday morning to the paint booth!!! Sunday afternoon a bunch of us British car guys and wives are getting together for a Bar-B-Que. I won't stay long, gotta start reassembly. I might wait until Monday,
We got the stainless steel battery box in, no more rust!

I think it might be time for an assembly party to get this thing on the road in time for Triumphfest!

Well things are moving along great. We are going to the paint booth tomorrow at 530 in the morning. The TR Should be home and in my garage around 3:00 p.m. Assembly will start at 3:01. It will be close for Triumpfest, but I am not going to hurry my self on reassembly. On Sunday we have a bar-b-que with a bunch of triumph guys. It feels like christmas.

The TR Stork isn't strong enough to fly in the car complete so it's flying in one part at a time.... Plus it's in the Stork Union by-laws!! :laugh:

got back from the paint at about 3:00 and the end result is fantastic! I have to wait for a day for the paint and clear coat to set before I can start assembly. It is going to be a long day!
