I have a early 1098 that I pulled from a junker, Any body need it? its complete. I am in the coastal area of South Carolina. I also have the tranny that is still attached. might need a little for it.

I see a new anchor for that fishing boat you own.

I have another 1098 block with bad bores that I was thinking of putting in the front yard beside the mail box and planting daisies in the cylinders

I would take it in a minute if It wasn't so far and expensive to ship..... Durnit.

So they're all small journal ones that people have extras of? That's a shame. The large journal ones are great engines.

While on the subject I have a good 10CG, 10CC for rebuild, And good only 3K 948 I can part with. (Scout II, I'm just down I29 from you.)
Just clutter if I can't work a trade which I am working on.

I have a large journal engine, complete, already disassembled. one cylinder may need sleeve. I have them in my shop and they are in the way. Hoping someone needed them before I drug them into the woods for storage

Lay them on their side I guess would be the best way to storage outside?

Are you near Sioux Falls or Aberdeen Kurt? I'm up in the NW quarter of ND, not far from Minot. If I get down that way, I might give you a PM and see if you still have them. I am trying to build up a spares collection.

South of Sioux Falls, Bryan. The 10CG has been rebuilt and I was told it was a good engine with low miles. Came with a all or nothing parts purchase with parts from 4 cars. Also have a fresh rebuilt 1500 engine. Trying to work a trade for rebuilding a 1275.

Kurt.
