100-Six Web Site - Updates

For those interested in Healey history I thought I'd let you know that the 100-Six web site has been updated over the last several months. (With contributions from fellow forum member Jim Lesher)

In particluar the new and/or updated pages are:

- Introduction of the 100-Six (includes very rare document)
- DHMC Options List (list & prices of available options)
- Longbridge Top ( explains the differences of Healey folding tops)
- Works Rally Cars (specs pictures etc)
- Bonneville 1956 (new layout and photos of the record runs)
- Monthlery 1958 (some rare new photos of the record car in action)
- Austin Colour Chart (factory colour spec sheets)

you can check it out at

Simon,

Glad you enjoyed the Site.

Why not consider trading in the TR4A - Shop around and you will be surprised at the prices of the 100-Six. Much much less than the BJ8's. I bought mine in Toronto BTW. Terracota, Ontario actually.

Re: 100-Six Web Site - Updates

DerekJ,

The easiest thing to do probably is to go to www.blueboxdesign.nl/healey so yo can look and see what you would like to use. We just bought our car recently so the first couple of pics are when we found the car in a storage box. We have done some work to it but it will be completely rebuild next year when we will take it back to europe. The last page with pictures has a couple of nice shots made in Wormsloe park in Savannah,GA.

INteresting article about the 59 BN7 "100-6, my car a 59 BT7 built in April 1959 was also badged as a 100-6, in fact I bought it believing it to be a 100-6...my friend who was a BMC mechanic at the time informed me it was a 3 litre...marketing might be the logical reason for renaming the cars "3000" but I also think the factory tended to use up the old parts also...interesting story in any event.
