Patton and Derek,
Wonderful articles and photos in the latest commemorative edition, and Editor Reid - great job as always. Please promise to have an equally well done issue for the 50th of my BT7 in 2009-10!

Lin - Where are you located? and when did you receive your copy? I am very anxious to see this issue myself. I understand Marque is shipped from the Charlotte Postal Distribution Center?
Thanks - jim /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Yes, that is definitely in the plan. First we'll commemorate the introduction of the Sprite in 2008, then the 3000 the following year.

Say, you wouldn't be interested to be a researcher-writer for that 3000 commemorative issue now would you... ?

Reid,
I am sure that there are others more qualified than myself, but if you need a volunteer I would be willing to undertake the task for the 3000. My BT7 was the first car I ever owned. I bought it in 1971. Hopefully the restoration of the Beast will be finished by this summer.

How many words? If you become aware of others who have more experience and a fondness for writing, I will not be offended.

I got my copy of Marque today here in PA, not quite as fast as the mail service to PARIS, but at least I got it in the same week. Reid, Derek, and Patton you did great job for all the 100-Six owners. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif I really enjoyed the color photos of the 3 100-Six streamliners at the March 1957 Sebring 12-hour race.

Many thanks. We're still a couple of years away from beginning work on the 3000 50th anniversary edition of Healey Marque, but when the time comes maybe I'll post here looking for volunteers, and I hope you'll still be active on the BCF and still game to write something. In the meantime you get big good-guy points for being willing! Thanks again.

Kudos to all involved in the 100-6 anniversary issue!
Love the cover art...very nice. It really echoes the style of illustration from the 100-6 era, but looks quite fresh. As a BN6 owner, it’s a very satisfying read. Made me go give my car a big hug. Can’t wait for the next installment!
