Nope , way too much money for an amateurish restoration that will need to be completely redone in a few years. You cannot half restore an Austin Healey body and this one has too much brushed on undercoating on the undersides for me, it could be completely rotten in some areas.
 
Hmmm, I was figuring it would get bid into the mid $50's and not meet reserve. Sold for less than I thought. Somebody got a pretty good deal on a nice looking car. Maybe the comments about the rear of the rocker panels being bondo'd into the rear wings scared people?
 
So this one sold for $35,550: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1954-austin-healey-100-4/ Seems like the buyer got a good deal (I believe he's in the Netherlands), but it's one of the reasons I have no interest in selling my car. Trying to figure out the fair market value of any classic car drives me crazy. I don't know how anyone who tries to buy and sell for a living does it.
