The house and belongings of an Ontario man who died without heirs are being auctioned for charities he specified in his will: https://www.recorder.ca/2017/02/22/all-for-auction-all-for-others Included is a rather nice looking 100, albeit with some running issues:

There's also some Healey Dinkys:

The property belonged to John B. Hartry who was quite the collector. Also included in the sale is a Morgan in similar shape along with all kinds of collectibles. The auction catalog is pretty interesting if you like old stuff. https://theresataylor.hibid.com/auctions/current

No financial interest, just saw this is my Healey news feed.

I suspect the folks who did the inspection are not too familiar with Healeys; they called it an Austin America.

Very nice looking car, the body work sure looks sharp in the video. Suspect the poor running is just enrichment not set right, mine runs like that cold when the main jets don't pull down enough. Weak Canadian dollar might generate quite a bit of interest in this beauty.

Its at 30,000CAN right now so thats what about 5K US ??:congratulatory::eagerness:

32,100CAN 2 days to go . So whats that about 7500US based on our CAN peso !!!!!
seems like quite the bargin right now .

Closing in on 40Gs CAN with only a few hrs left to bid .

It sounds like all the money to me. No deal there.

$40,000 plus 10 percent buyers premium, plus taxes of up to 13 percent, plus credit card fees of up to 3%, plus shipping, plus duty if crossing the border. Even in US dollars, that is an expensive old 100, considering how rough it is.

I'm out. Will keep on looking for another 100-4 in Canada.

It just past the 50Gs
someone really wants it

Lucky charity ......someone really overpaid for that ....52,200$ CAN

I'm wondering if it's to late to claim that I am the long lost relative of the Robert Glasgow who built the home that Is being auctioned. After all I share the same name. If I can make that claim stick, maybe I can also lay some claim to the 100 based on some arcane Property right.
Rob Glasgow
