100-6 BN4 side curtains - questions

I got the new rubber seals for the 100-6 side curtains (second type). There seems to be an outside and an inside, but how do you tell which is which? Second, I got the new felt for the channels. Does that go on the top and bottom, or on all four sides? Is it glued in? Would it KILL manufacturers to pop a direction sheet in with the parts?

Recently I have substituted one of my side curtains rubber seals
same problem--
the oldest seals, probably original, is completely different and have -)- profile-
for the newest (passenger side LHD car) I have preferred the -(-
here you find the better photo side screen of my collection
a6.jpg
this is a NEWEST profile installation

2)Fortunately I haven't the occasion to install the felt the pair of SC that I have find on e bay UK are NOS - and only RX seals are damaged- but I believe that felt substitution with the actual stare felt -problematic ---If your felt is in decent condition avoid the substitution, and
only refresh.
I will tray to make one good macro photo of my original channels felt for you.
Cheers

Andrea,
What is the status of your side curtain redesign?
Lin
Hi Lin
Mi oldest sidecurtain redesign is stopped I will finish my car, before, but i am nearest at the end
BUT NOT abandoned- I have also upgraded and simplified the project, now the fulcrum is a single bar from front to rear,
probably aluminium first I attempt by a pipe 10mm diameter cut flat at the center, with some screws to connect it to the plexiglass
-this is my new
sketctSidescreenMOD up - 1.jpg
otherwise a round bar grinded flat in the center section
this solution have better rigidity and are more strongest, some differences from the oldest designBASCULANTE03.jpgbut follow same concept
Cheers
