Hi All
The links of my adjustable windscreen have been butchered (by previous owner) I am going to get the holes welded up but need to get the dimensions and position of the plain single hole so I can re-drill it.

Has anyone got these dimensions?

Cheers

Not sure which part you mean? The chrome base plate the little pins go into on the fender when flat? Not sure if I can picture the part from the description--maybe that is why no answer yet.

Hi All, The link is the short length of flat bar that supports the screen when its in the "racing position".

I just love telling people that i have a car with a folding screen for racing... until they ask me about performance.

Cheers Mike, here is a pick of the improvement a previous owner made.

Dougal,

Took these off of one of my links that was rechromed, so they are very close but not exact. If you are going to use them I'm sure they will work, I would just trial fit prior to rechrome.

Thanks for that Michael, its most appreciated. Can I ask for one more dimension (but only if you still still have the link off the car). I need to confirm the distance between the center of the single hole and the slot.

If you have already re-assembled the link don't worry as I think I can get this dimension by removing the whole support from the car and assembling the screen and support on the bench. Unfortunately you cannot measure this dimension with the screen and supports in place.

Cheers

Michael, I now have the dimension I need, please don't take any of your beautiful car apart again!
Thanks for your help on this.

The distance from the center of the single hole to the center of the end hole in the slot is 5.75".
Thanks BLU_HLY for this info.

Great, I was out of town or I would have gotten back to you sooner. Let me know if you need anything else....

Michael.
