I'm trying to work out where to put a radio in my BN1. I don't really want to put it in the dash as it spoils the elegant design. Under the parcel shelf looks ugly. I'm sure I've seen a picture somewhere of some sort of period console under the dash fitted on the transmission tunnel. Anybody got any pictures of such a thing or built something similar?
 
depends on the radio and what the radio does. They make nice hidden radios that don't need a display at all because they control an I-pod or an I-phone. Other hidden systems have a small wired display that could be velcroed onto the carpet in front of the shifter. If I was to run a radio in a Healey I would use a hidden system. Do you already have the radio picked out?

I would prefer the hidden approach but I've not really found a suitable amp to use with my Ipod. I originally thought I could hide an amp somewhere and have an Ipod socket hidden in the ashtray.
