I have a question regarding king pin bushing replacement on a 100/4 suspension. This winter my plan is to rebuild the front suspension entirely. I was going to purchase the Moss king pin kits and noticed there is an expensive reamer available - Is this a requirement? Can a good machine shop setup the bushes and pin?
It seems like the front suspension is pretty straight forward but the $1100 reamer caught my attention. Could there be a trick to this suspension? Please let me know.
I was able to run the Healey-Chevy at the Mt.Washington Hillclimb last weekend. 5 runs up the 5-6 mile coarse. It really was a good time.

(#74, silver and red stripe - no, it doesn't look like a 100/4)
