Hey all,
I got great advice on how to handle taking off the old
front shocks on my 100-4 - used the floor jack under the
spring system which worked great. However, HOW DO YOU
COMPRESS THE TOP LINK BUSH DOWN to get the fulcrum pin
into place ????? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Take out the bolt holding the two arms together and drive a wedge between them. You should get the clearance you need.

Mentioned that in the PM...

Ooh rah ! Knew someone would come to my rescue. Just got the new rebuilt shocks
back from Apple and will take that bolt off and spread the arms to get that extra
1/8 inch per side so I can get the thing back on ! Thanks Randy.
Regards,
Mike
