100-4 carbs

What carbs?

Thomas,

Re: 100-4 carbs,

The original fours have neither HS or HD carbs. they are just the earlier H type. The standard fours had H4's & the LeMans spec had H6's.

Bighly; what do you mean, "what carbs". I don't understand your question.

Dave; my car is a 1955 BN-1, so it must have H4s. I asked this question because someone asked me what type of carbs are on my car, HS or HD type. Of course I didn't have an answer. While I'm about it, do either one of you (or anyone else)have a recommendation concerning books about repair/tuning these carbs? I'd like to start doing more of my own maintenance.

Thanks guys.
