Not that my garage was messy and cluttered (ha!) but I've been working on getting it cleaned up and organized for over a week now and I'm still not done! What really stinks is, I know that it will look great for about a month before it starts to revert to the cluttered mess that is my normal mode of operation in my garage!

I don't think I can even get in my garage!!
You're way ahead of me, Boss! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I'm so tight for room that when I come back from an event, the first thing I do is drag a bunch of stuff out of the garage and push the Spridget in.
Then I put a piece of plywood on the roll cage of #11 and pile all the stuff on the plywood.
And unless I build a garage or buy a bigger place, Race Car #2 (Escort) will never see the inside of a garage.

SOme good tips there! I'm actually already doing a lot of that stuff! Especially stoage. I sent and bought a bunch of those plastic stackable things and have them full of similar items. I also bought a bunch of the smaller plastic storage containers for organizing a lot of the bits and pieces. I'll take some pictures when I'm finally all done.

If I could afford it I would - but I can't so will have to suffer with what little I have.

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/angel.gif My garage is well ordered...........

Hubby does a great job!!!

(Shame on me with that sexist remark-I just couldn't help myself.)

My garage is a pit. I'm doing major hoeing out soon. but I gotta hoe out the house first. That's just as big a mess as the garage.
We're pigs. I'll admit it. Now if I could only afford the dumpster to make a quick job of it.
"It's crazy Banjos everything must go sale!!"
I'm finally hitting the age where I realize I have to pick my projects, and let go of stuff I haven't even seen much less used in years.
Our house is just too small, and so is my budget, and so is the amount of "play time" I have.

Reading this thread makes me feel somewhat better
about myself. I've allowed my garage to become a
mess. Your comments makes me feel better to know
others suffer the same issue.

You guys are an encouragement not only in my vehicle
repair, but now also my garage organization.
Things I lack are money and time. Desire is arising,
tho.

There is no way I could ever in a million years keep my garage as nice as yours - just too many projects and too much junk collected over the years.

Basil - how tall are your ceilings - not from the lip but from the floor itself?

Oh I say! Absolutely spiffing old boy. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Now I suppose I'd better do something like that too. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
