Guy's any sugestions on upgrading the rear drum brakes on a 1/4 eliptical and staying within racing guidelines?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Any suppliers?
how about velvatouch shoes?

Might try mini spares in the UK. There are better shoes and pads then that. The competition pads that Victoria British sells work quite good. Minitex.

Thanks! will do /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You could also carry an old block attached with a rope, around on the rear deck. Kinda kick it off in an emergency.

You know it's funny but I've never had any luck with those Minifin drums....they always seem to warp.
My race partner has a 1/4 eliptic Sprite that had these too and they also warped on his car.
My racer is presently running stock cast iron drums and I would love to upgrade to disks but it's not legal in our club (EMRA).
SCCA production race cars can use rear disks legally.
Not sure about SCCA IT class (I think Spridgets run in IT-D).
