AWSOME........Looks 1st class.

Keep us updated with the progress. Very exciting!!!!!

Here's an idea.....make the remains into a trailer. That'd be kind of cool if it's possible.

Belive me I have already thought of that as a winter project!

Today is Sunday and the drivers side is almost done with the ruff in work. The quality of the after market parts is not so good. Rockers were from e-bay (original quality)not quite, and the quater panels from Moss. We had to do some major modifcations to the metal. I no longer have a four foot finger brake in the back of my company truck, I now have a Prius to drive to and from work 130 miles a day so it will be better for the companys gas milage 50 mpg to 17 mpg in the Chevy silverado. The stainless steel battery box was fitted today also and the floors go in on saturday. With all the new 16 GA. steel this car will be solid.

Dan - if it is OK can you post the link to your larger format pictures (or maybe email them). I'm about to do similar work and I'd really like to study what you have done here...

How do you post larger pictures? Or the link to my photo bucket albums?
If you PM me I could send all by e-mail. Or if you have a particular area in question I can take closer pictures.
Dan

Dan-

I think when you are uploading to Photobucket, you may be having Photobucket reduce the size automatically. That was my problem, and it stayed that way until I chose a large format.

Randy

Hmm, mine defaulted to 1024 x 768; but maybe it depends on your computer or something.

Dan, look at the bottom of the "Upload Images & Video" box near the top of your Photobucket page (have to be signed in) for "Reduce to ..." and see what it defaults to. If it really is set to 320x240, then click on the "more options" link to the right and chose the "1 megabyte file size" option.

Of course, that won't change the photos you have already uploaded. To take advantage of the new setting, you'll need to upload them again.

To share the album with us, look near the upper LH corner where it says "Share this album". Copy & paste that link into your post here. Eg https://s401.photobucket.com/albums/pp94/tinman1958/

Or if you would prefer, email the photos to me and I'll put them up for you. You've got my email (hint : It's my screen name at ca.rr.com)

Well, that's better, but still pretty small. Could your camera or software be set to some "space saving" mode?

opps my mistake I went to the "large" size Here is the 1 mega size!
Better?

Not sure what happened, but that's back to the 320x240 size.

Dan...you are moving right along.
Looks promising that we will have a good
chance to see you @ Triumphest in SLO this Fall! Gil

I thought that I would give you guys a up date on the rebuild. The new HDVA 5-speed trans is in, The TR6 pressure plate is used in the conversion , so the flywheel needed to be drilled and taped for the fitment of the TR 6 plate. The drive shaft will be done tomorrow (had to add about 1 1/2 inch to the lenght). The headers have been ceramic coated and the rest of the exhaust will be done today. The head is still at the head shop. I ported out the intake and the machinist is doing his thing. Removed the TR6 fan and am installing a 12 inch puller fan. The body is getting there the floors are in and rockers are in and we are starting the "mud work". The stainless steel battery box is fitted (to be installed after paint) I still can not find the paint color that I really want, It is very simalaur to the Harvest moon color but a few shades more brown. I belive it is also a VW new bug color. This weekend we will start on the finer body work. Also I am having some of the other BLING parts either chromed or powder coated.
