03 acura 3.2 tl

Was out yesterday and picked up a beautiful Acura...had been hit in the rt. front..got the bumoer cover, rt. front fender and headlite. No inner structual damage...drives like a new car. Pearl white with tan leather...Bose sound system with an in dash 6 disc changer. Every option as it was the top of the line. Low miles..lady was driving it..didn't have full coverage and a guy hit her. She didn't want it fixed so other guy's ins. comp. bought her a different car. I got it for 20 percent of book value...all parts are on the way to fix it. Clear title...tracks perfectly and hauls butt....

Besides that one...I'm leaving im a few minutes for Amarillo(100 miles) to pick up an 81 Scirocco thats been in storage for years...not a mark, perfect apint and interior but has engine issues. As luck would have it...I have a fully race built 81 Scirocco I've been holding onto that was crunched in the front and had just pulled the drive-train out of last week. The guy who has the car is a mechanic and his shop just burned down(car was at his home) so he has to sell stuff to start over. A pal was in Amarillo last week...checked it out amd called me. I picked that one up for 250. Gpoing to trailer it home and build it after the Fl. trip.

Picked up the Scirocco yesterday and was shocked to find its an S model.... silver with all factory Recaros in the stock red/black/ grey stripes. Original stereo, wheels and center caps..a/c car with O damage or rust. Paint is near perfect, glass great...original books and all paperwork since new in a folder. One owner car...97k miles.Even my wife was plaeased. Today....schedule permitting...I'm dropping in a full race 16v eng that I've been holding for the right car. All the factory side bump strips are intact and red/black pinstriping is perfect...have camera..will post pics layer tonite....

My wife calls me a car magnet....yesterday a bunch of my special ops. pals came by so we cleaned and prepped the eng. compartment..cleaned the eng/trans and it now is installed. Not hooked up...just four pointed. One of the new guys from the base has made an offer...he has a new Toureg and said this would make a fun toy....also have a tentative offer on the Acura, but the wife has first refusal on new toys. We can't keep them all....but we try.
