My car is a 100/6 BN6. However, it was imported into the UK with documentation as a BN4. It was not imported by myself so I'm not sure if the stamped items on the car are original to the car. My big task is to investigate what the true identity of the car is. I was hoping there were some stamped...
I have a 1959 100/6, the factory vin plate shows a number of "BN4L-S/74978" there is another plate under the above plate stamped "serial number", with a number of 3653. The 3653 is positioned to hang underneath the BN4L plate showing the 3653 number. Does anyone else have this type plate...

I'm looking for the VIN number stamped in the chassis of my Austin Healey Mark 1 BT7 from 1960.
I've looked on the right front shock mount where it's placed for later cars (BJ7/BJ8) but apparently this BT7 doesn't have that. So it should be somewhere else?
