During restoration and a realignment of the front end, my steering wheel (Moto Lita) is off about 10 degrees. How complicated is it to actually get it straight. Can I pull the horn hub and move the wheel mounting hub or am I into pulling the entire trafficator assembly.
Hello - I own a 1949 Austin Devon that is receiving a great deal of attention on its steering at the moment. If anyone has any tips on facilitating removing the trafficator head and stator tube I'd be grateful. I'm fond of my car but it's giving me headaches of late.
Hi everyone
I'm struggling to see how my steering wheel removes. Under the nut is a washer which has some sort of notch which is very tight and seemingly will not move without an element of brute force

I have changed the dash on my 100/6 and in the process obviously I had to remove the Moto Lita wheel and boss
It was well on and the splines were slightly rusted so removing it required a puller
When everything was out, I greased the shaft and the boss so refitting was nice and smooth...
