Hello Members, I seem to have a lot of oil coming from the front of the engine and purchased a stock-type replacement to install. Before I do that, I am curious if anyone has retrofitted a modern steel-encased rubber seal with any success? If not, has anyone found a way to make these work...- 56HealeyDan

BJ8 Transmission Front Seal
1964 BJ8 leaking front transmission seal. Quick question for you guys. With the transmission out of the car, do you need to remove the bell housing to replace the front seal on the BJ8 Transmission?
