This is a Triumph frame originally from a mid-year 1957 TR3. Approximate commission number TS18700. It's from a car that was built with front disk brakes, and it will fit all 1954-1962...
I am looking at replacing the front chassis frame on my Mk1 - sometimes referred to as the H-section. I notice that Moss parts don't list one for the Mk1.
Is availability of replacements this section a problem then?
Is there any interchangeability with this and the later "(c) H-AN6 to (c)...

I'm looking for the VIN number stamped in the chassis of my Austin Healey Mark 1 BT7 from 1960.
I've looked on the right front shock mount where it's placed for later cars (BJ7/BJ8) but apparently this BT7 doesn't have that. So it should be somewhere else?
