I'm a new member here and this is my first post
I am based in the UK and i am currently restoring my Austin Healey 100/6 BN6.
Its taking a little longer than i anticipated, largely because my family came along and priorities change.
I work in the Logistics department as a Logistics...
I have a pretty standard 58 100/6 which I've owned for a couple of years.
I've done very little to it other than a general service of the carbs, plugs and points
I've installed a new exhaust, as well as seat belts a roof and some heatshield
I also had the gearbox and overdrive rebuilt by Hardy...
When I wrapped up my 58 100/6 last winter in it's nice warm garage, with the de humidifier ticking away, it fired up on the choke, warmed up nice and ran like a dream
Since opening the door this spring it has struggled to start and when it does run makes loud sucking noises and is very hesitant...

Back from my vacation and back to another AH problem and question.......
When I switch on the ignition on my 100/6 occasionally the overflow on one of the cars spills out fuel where obviously the float does not cut off the fuel once the bowl is full
Also my fuel pump continues to run /...
Probably not a concern for all you California guys but how much antifreeze should I put in my 100/6
I'm using Radicool which is a concentrate
