I need to replace the two strips of webbing on my BN6 soft top because they were damaged by mice during winter storage. I'm unsure about how the webbing strips attach to the heavy front frame member (the part that gets mounted to the windshield). Anyone have any experience with this? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure they are between the wood and the softop fabric . They are wrapped over the top of the wood and stapled to it . Then covered by the softop fabric and frame to windshield seals etc

Thanks HN. Just so I am clear, will I need to remove all the screws from the underside of the frame member (visible in the attached picture) plus the two corner screws located on the upper side of the frame member? Arrow indicates point of insertion of the webbing.
