In 1968 I met and fell in love with Shirley. Some how I had the good sense to propose and on this day that year we got married. Now 47 years later we are best friends and more in love than ever. And just to make things better we share a passion for British cars!

Congratulations! In January we'll be on our 43rd.

Congratulations, Tom!

Janet and I had a blind date for Mardi Gras '69. Married three years later and she still puts up with me!

Congratulations Tom, I'll be lucky if I live to be married 47 years (my wife doesn't believe in divorce).

Thanks guys. We are both amazed at how fast the time has gone by. We have had some big adventures sometimes good and sometimes not so good but we have always supported and stuck together each other.
Congrats to you others too. Life is good!

Congratulations! Today is our 58th! :encouragement: PJ

Thanks for all the good wishes guys! It is great seeing that others are having lasting and happy marriages and others heading that direction. Congrats to all of you also. Shirley and I had a very nice day. We spent it by ourselves and went out for a nice dinner.

Paul, did you get married when you were 12? LOL

I was 19 and she was 17, with her parents permission. There were a few that said it would never last! :highly_amused: fooled them all! PJ
