TR4/4A Bumper over- rider fitment assistance please.

I am having difficulty achieving nice fitment of the front bumper and over-riders.
To get the bumper sitting reasonably well, I find the over-riders are sloping forward.
I presume that they should sit vertical with no forward sloping.
[My bumper may be twisted slightly].
How much forward sloping is acceptable.....pic attached.

They look like TR4 over-riders. The 4A ones are much smaller and mount further out between the headlight and the indicator. Not sure if the bumpers are different but that might explain why the over-riders are leaning.

I agree that it looks like TR4 overriders on a TR4A bumper. The bumpers are different part numbers (TR4A and TR250/TR5 are the same).

Thanks guys.... body is TR4 as are over-riders.
Are the TR4 and TR4A bumpers a different profile as well as having different mounting holes
But you will notice from the attached pic [see pic 1] that the mounting holes on my bumper are for a TR4 as there is no hole on the bumper between the headlight and the turn indicator as for TR4A over-rider.
I hand mounted a spare 4A over-rider that I have..fits OK [ pics 2 & 3]
Confused......

The bumper confusion is pretty common, I ordered a 4A bumper and they send me a TR4 bumper, I waited too long to return it because I was restoring the car and the bumper is of course one of the last things that goes on, so I ended up ordering another TR4A bumper from the same vendor, got the right one, told them I got the wrong one and send the old one back.

The curve and shape of both bars is exactly the same as far as I know, just the mounting holes are different both for the brackets and the overriders, I don't think the overriders always line up the best even with all new matching parts, you sort of have to line them up as best you can.

Agree, bumper shape the same, bolt holes are spaced different. I haved drilled new hole for overrider mount and put chrome round head bolt in old hole.

Same shape?????
I have new TR4 over-riders that do not fit the bumper that I have....TR4A over-riders fit....the TR4 over-riders fit my rear bumper nicely.
Conclusion...either the new TR4 over-riders are not correctly made or the bumpers are a different shape.

Same shape?????.
Pulled my TR4 bumper from the loft for comparison...while they're certainly similar, the curve and shape of the two are definitely different.
Photo doesn't allow differences to be seen...but there are differences.
