Tulsa Oklahoma Problem

If I was someone thinking about moving to Tulsa and after hearing the news reports on personal safety in the city, I would set that thought aside for now. It is being reported that 5.5 murders take place there each month!! Such a nice city being ruined by scum bags running the streets killing people. This is what happens when the "do gooders" get involved saying the scum bags have rights also. The police are fighting a battle by being tagged as being too rough with the perps. Funny though, if one of the do gooders family members are attacked, their not so quick to be a do gooder anymore hasseling the police. I could say a lot, but won't go into it further, I could possibly upset someone. I have been known to do this!:soapbox: PJ

And as long as people think only about enriching themselves, and not building their community, it'll continue.

I worked for the local Police Dept. in the late 70s and early 80s. It is a given that 5% of any given population is of bad character. Our town was at population of 2000. That is 100 people. Our town is now 4000 so it is now 200. Check your population multipy and those are the odds. As population grows, so do the 5%. The 5% is what budgets are based on and how much the depts. need to protect the 95%.

And here in the Queen City of the Patapsco River Basin, we've had 45 murders in the last 31 days. We will exceed an average of one-a-day by year's end.I guess "just say no" isn't working.
