Not yet, but with the outrageous cost of replacement blades for the inefficient "five-blade" and others I've tried since my injector Shick gave up the ghost I'm inclined to give one of these "blades for life" type ones a try.
Ritual daily face-scraping has been a real thorn in my side for decades. I thought about going back to a full beard but the climate here makes it problematic.

I used an old Case straight razor for years, best shave I ever had. After we had kids the missus became worried that one of the boys would try to give himself a shave and wind up cut up pretty badly or dead, so I switched to an old Gillette safety razor. Blades are five for a dollar and it does a completely satisfactory job. I have always been too cheap to buy any of these expensive razors when I can do a good job for far less.

Doc, once you're past the "itchy" stage a beard is not much different in the heat than a shaved face...The itchy period combined with heat is real tough, but after that, it's easy.
I went big bearded for years. One day I got sick of it (after 15 years) and even though I hate shaving, I busted the beard off. The very first thing I noticed was that people were more willing to talk to me! My jokes were funnier!?, I was shocked. Could this really be true? I swear it is. Big beard = scary freak, no beard = not so bad. I'm the SAME DUDE!!! Anyway, After establishing my shaving ritual I discovered that Schick 3 blade disposables and Barbasol shave creme are "it" for me. Gillette razors and fancy shave sauce were killing me.

I quit shaving (and haircuts) the day I was discharged from the Air Force, went the next twenty years with a beard and quite a while with a tail. Chopped the beard down to a goatee after that and chopped down to a close-cropped head. I decided I ~have~ to look at least half-way civilized to approach clients, I know the attitude thing well, too. BTDT. Now it's a look like "Walt" of Breaking Bad fame. Or more like Lt. Col. Bill Cowan:
